Memoryscapes by Kristen Crouch

A memoryscape is a layered composite of memories and people in my life. I digitally distort snapshot images using an original algorithm informed by visual and numerical data gathered from geographic locations, numerology, and life events. These abstractions are translated into many forms, including projected installations, sculptures, and mixed media prints to metal.

The Epitaphs with Kristen Crouch

Kristen takes mathematical data (birth dates, longitude & latitude, places a person has lived) from the guest artists and uses that to make bold new images that are later printed on sheets of metal.
